Betty Minor, BS, RN, founded Laser Resource, Inc. in 1986 and now consults with hospitals and clinics across the country in areas of utilization, facility safety audits, and custom prepared "Operating Room Policies and Procedures", "Standard Operating Procedures", and overall laser center development studies. Betty Minor conducts hospital laser training seminars to include all wavelengths for operating room personnel, physicians, biomedical engineers, and ophthalmology personnel. Laser Resource, Inc. will assist on initial laser cases for laser safety. Formerly the Operating Room Supervisor at a major Denver area hospital, Director of Education, and later became the National Sales Manager of an east coast Laser Company.

Betty is now active as an educator, consultant, lecturer, and author; she has developed numerous Laser Training Programs. She is an active member of the ANSI-Z-136.3 board of the American National Standards Institute, for the Safe Use of Lasers in Health Care Facilities. Betty Minor has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She has approximately 3 decades of laser related teaching experience and has presented well over 1000 seminars on laser related topics. She has authored several articles related to lasers, laser education, and laser application.
